incidentally i was happy yesterday. like really happy though i had some *bad vibes* moments. i was generally happy and continued to be until the time i slept.

thank you Universe, and thanks to some sweets in my life.

I would like to apologize for the rants that I've been making. Life isnt miserable, but sometimes, you end up taking note of the bad things.

There are wonderful things thats happening also.

(1) I found a very good service staff already on my cafe/ restaurant trips. They are from a small cafe on the 4th floor of the Galleria called, Ms. Polly's. She was able to convince me to order some cake, though I was starving myself (aka diet). She was really courteous also and was serving us properly. I would like to commend her.

(2) Spring Festival at The ShangriLa until I dont know when. I shouldve watched it last Saturday instead of getting bored and looking for other things to do. movies were interesting, I just cant remember what were the ones i liked to watch. will watch as soon as i can

(3) there's a mini-park two blocks from me. beside the park are coffee shops and a gelato place. awesome! too bad i was jogging that time. where i live is a business district, and even residential condominiums had offices. in each building, there's a food place. when u jog around food places, thats meant for you to only think of food. what is worse is when u pass by the pandesal place and smell fresh pandesal at 4 in the afternoon. how good is that? i love this place!

(5) i am a bum who has 3 jobs right now. awesome!

There are things that make u love life a lot, things that make u cherish and enjoy each thing that happens also. I am slowly finding mine thank God! hope u find ur good vibes too.

ive watched this episode alone like 5 times already, 4 times today. I cant get enough of it!!! these two videos are from Episode 8, and im like a teenie screaming how hot these two guys are...


Matthew Morrison dancing here is really H-O-T. he isn't really "my guy" (coz that title goes to Cory Monteith) but this made me really giggly here. (plus there was also this vid on YouTube where Matthew was in New York with glasses and a Mets baseball cap!!!)

i watched today's day game at home, for most part while eating lunch and washing the dishes. im getting to be a fan of Brad Bergesen now that i wanted to get done with yard work (at around 1235) as fast as i could just so i can watch the game right away. i ate lunch and started watching the game that was on 1 run at that time, which at that time was pretty slow still. i was washing a pot when Huff made his 3 RBI hit, that was for me short of a homer. i smiled too much since then. I can never get tired of watching them when they make things like this get crazy. oh well! unfortunately, or not, i was not able to see when Bergesen was hit on the leg that caused his injury. its saddening me, and i hope that once he recuperates, he gives us the same pitch, the same play that he's been giving us. i just want to see him in more games. he's the one of the best rookie of the year prospects, before i can even think of the name Nolan Reimold. for me with Bergesen given this difficult task, he is much more deserving to get into ROY's than Nolan, or if they can give it to both, i sure wouldn't mind.

Other news is that trade deal leads George Sherrill towards the LA Dodgers side. I haven't read what Alyssa Milano has to say about that, but i'm saddened by this news. I've been starting to like Sherrill, minus times when he cannot just close it good, but the other thing is that they are putting "my boy" Jim "JJ" Johnson in his place. SUCKS!!! EPIC FAIL!!! i dunno tho, but i dont trust JJ so much because he gives up a lot of runs. he pitches balls too high also leading to Balls, and it just plain sucks! I'm hopeful JJ would improve and try to work it out then.

PS: Did u see Nolan Reimold's brother John? he's a basketball player in Luxembourg, tall, and such a cutie. (*_*)

Spring Fling

I shall start by saying that this is a review of "(500) Days of Summer" and an essay of my life. It’s weird when you realize that a work of fiction, such as a movie, can mirror most details in your life. In my case, how "(500) Days of Summer" made me look at my life, or the way I handle a relationship for that matter, and made me realize how you're just a torn up person living on earth.

To anyone who has seen the movie, I know we'll understand each other. To those who haven't, I am sorry for any spoilers. Good luck in reading this.

I am Summer. I am Summer for the simple fact that everything about her when she was in a relationship with Tom... damn she was awful! And I would think I was awful as well. You wouldn't think that a girl would be as awfully awkward about love and relationship. You wouldn't think that a girl would be afraid of the word love and not be in love with love. But Summer was, and she was afraid to fall in love, and most of all she was afraid to commit. If I watched Katherine Heigl in "The Ugly Truth", I wouldn't relate to her character as much as I got to relate to Summer. I haven't seen the movie (and would still want to watch it), but Katherine Heigl's character for sure is a girl who was all too giggly with being in a relationship with a guy she has so dreamt of having. Summer, on the other hand, had someone who loved her so much from day one, and she let him slip away. She let him get in the illusion of having a girlfriend when all along she was not looking for anything but a guy to be with and do the fun stuff. Or really, I wasn't sure what she was looking for.

Tom, on the other hand, loved to love. She was his sun, moon, and stars. He felt so in love with her that even though she said from the start that she was not ready to get into a serious relationship, he swallowed his pride and went with it. He was so in love that he was maybe hoping he could change her, but in the end, it didn't work that way. Boy meets girl, boy learns to love girl, and girl likes the idea of being liked. But then girl breaks his heart into a million pieces for reasons we don’t know. Really, the movie did not expound on that aspect. As I say, it just happens.

But towards the end, Summer finds a guy that she gets to settle with. As much as it seems brutal for the audience to find out that Tom’s heart has been broken, Summer’s decision made sense… to me at least. She settles down for a guy she met at a coffee shop, who was there at the right place at the right time and maybe asked the right question. She did believe in love and found love, but not with Tom, and he was someone who took the risk of asking her if she was ready to settle down, and to his delight I guess, she was up for the challenge of a new life, of settling down, and sad as it may seem, it wasn’t with Tom.

Not all Summer’s are awful beings. To Summer’s defense, she just didn’t find the right person in Tom. It may not be about the right place at the right time, it might be all about the right person. I am a dude, as so defined in the movie, not ready to commit or anything like that, but like Summer (and a little bit of Tom), once I find that right person, I know he is the one. Relationships are all about risk also, risking to be loved and be loved back, to commit and to share your heart, to settle down and spend the rest of your life together. Ahhh… fairy tales.

today is April 2nd, 2009. i usually take note of it when it hits this day because for some reason, this date got stuck to me. i dont know what this date means though. it was the date for our High School Prom, and the Senior Ball, both events was left on the recesses of my brain, but other than that, i know there's something else to it... i just cannot figure out properly... hmmm....

maybe, like the Prom and the Ball events, its on the recesses of my brain as well.

 yey! this is a GREAT start. Federer won against Roddick, and he is now off to fight for Finals! weeh!!!! i love it! we are now awaiting if it will be against Nadal or Verdasco. hmmm... either will be exciting. Nadal is the usual nemesis, the game will be exciting just as usual. if it is Verdasco, then it will be exciting as well.
