Blog Action Day 2008

With the current crisis we are on, poverty is such a striking word. What brought us to this massive financial crisis is that everyone has a fear of being poor. However, what happened was that instead of supporting goals to prevent poverty, we have been more ruthless and aimed at getting more benefits than sharing the benefit that we have with others. We do not live in a perfect world, yet if we make our aims towards getting others to necessitate from our benefits, wouldn’t we have a better place? A place where we do not have to think that we must be better off than others, and where we must not jeopardize other peoples needs to favor our wants.

Poverty is a problem everywhere. it exists on each part of the earth, and it is up to us to do something and help out in lessening (if not eliminating) this problem.
