I Made It Thru Day # 1

i woke up early today. Yes! though at first it was drizzling, it stopped after a couple of minutes, and that was my cue that i have to make use of this special moment, of this valuable time, to put into action what i have been feeling guilty of not doing... running. though i did not really run today, i did brisk walking and jogging patterns. i did it for 30 mins with a less than a minute stop before heading home. the thing about the trail where i go is that it is a hill. i start with going a little uphill, then downhill, then some flat. when its downhill, it is really a breeze since you relax a bit, thus this is where my jogging set starts. then when it goes uphill, that is when i walk.
i'll do this a couple more days, then start running again. being slumped for ages makes you forget to breath properly, and your ankles do not cooperate with the rest of your body. so to prevent me from being slumped again due to various aching problems, i'll start with this warm-up first. then as the days go by, i'll be going on the running spree.
the day was nice, everything looked nice. i didnt put any headphones, so i ended up hearing natures' sound and the cars that pass by my back. it was nice. but dont look down... you'll see the run over frog. eek!

A morning jog? That should replace the need for coffee in the morning. Keep a log. Helps to make you establish goals and see your progress. That's what I have for all my excecise routines. My bike log tells me I've done 230+ miles this year. Not nearly enough for what I wanted.

Anyhoo, good luck with that. You should go with Gerry maybe.
