the "trip" to DC

we had an afternoon trip to DC today. our main purpose was not accomplished, sadly, because they really close early (Canadian Embassy closes at noon time or before noon time depending on what days). so we went to the botanical gardens, then we ate at this Spanish place called Taberna Del Alabardero. we ordered 6 different tapas, with most of them related to the sea. then had the wonderful Banana Boracha dessert. absolutely satisfying.
