This is the Mets' iconic "big apple", though most of their fans are from New Jersey and anywhere who aren't from New York City. When they said goodbye to Shea Stadium last year, they brought this apple with them, and it now sits below the huge board, ready for everyone to take pictures of before the game starts, and pops out again around the 7th inning. i didnt get to see Mr. Met (the mascot) but i got to see this.
