A New Day

I am not exagerating when I tell you that the moment I woke up this morning, I smiled and said to myself "Obama won!" I don't know what the difference is, it's just that it's absolutely monumental.

You wake up and see that things are the same. GOP supporters are i guess disgusted by the turn out. No GOP will accept that Bush slapped these things on them because for them, Bush is a hero. Major problem dudes: your hero had major casualties.

Fox News is still the same. What a crazy comment to listen to: maybe they served cocktails last night that is why all the kids were there. What a great way to malign the youth! And this is what they listen to? What happened to so-called fairness.

The problem is that they are maligning the youth who is the future of this country. Those who will serve this country for who knows how long. It always has been said that the youth are the future, and this is how to encourage the vote that they have made? How cruel! And when the youth goes against their will, they are called rebels. What has happened to respect for your own decisions? I certainly hope there is more to reconcile than to go against with.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. --- Newly Elected President Barack Obama

the good news is that all the youth -- whether they were first time voters or too young to vote -- are democrats, and it is highly likely that they will remain loyal to their party for many many years.

the change that obama speaks of is already well on its way.
