Where is Capt Nick Faeldon?

He made the police actions yesterday justifiable. Capt. Nick Faeldon, one of the leaders of the Magdalo group, and who Is part of those who were put into trial for Acts of Rebellion, was able to escape by pretending to be a member of the media. when just yesterday, everyone saw that the police actions as an overkill, Capt Faeldon has showed that they might be right with how they carried on their operation. they rightly followed their gut feeling that someone will try to escape by pretending to be from the media, just as the guy who wanted to assasinate Whitney Houston in The Bodyguard installed a gun on the camera and pretended to be covering her concert. i know also that one of the things we will hear about this are people who are saying HOW INCOMPETENT AUTHORITIES WE HAVE! IT IS EITHER THEY ARE DUMB OR THEY PURPOSELY LET HIM SLIP. Isnt that the usual case? isnt that one of the things that (Sen) Trillanes pointed out in his thesis? But do people even want to ask WHY DO YOU HAVE TO RUN AWAY?

A soldier is a gentleman, and in this case, he has shown that he isnt. They say they are fighting for our country, yet running away does not make the mess clear; it only causes it to be messier.

The script is not done yet. This has become a Trillanes series. Starting from the mutiny in July 2003, to winning the elections, to the November 29, 2007 events, and what might be next? His movie script makes him/them the hero. Hero(es) who are under duress and seemingly helpless, with a huge cast of villains. and then there is a phantom...

[after writing it down on paper, i transfered it here and checked reports also. Faeldon was captured again and taken into custody. however, it is such a dismay how one of those who commented on Ellen Tordesillas blog reacted. he states, and i quote:

The capture of Marine Capt. Nick Faeldon will not stop the imminent downfall of discredited Arroyo regime. It’s won’t discourage Filipino people aspiration and goal for better Philippines. The fight goes on! Gloria Arroyo must go!

what does this mean? does this mean that he is trying to justify Faeldon's actions? running away? hah! i do not know what i can say more to this. i hope that most of our people do not see this as a rightful reaction. i hope that people will think of things rationally and accordingly, not as some action movie would put it.]

Assuming that Capt. Faeldon escaped, the reason is not to dodge the hearings or to avoid being punished. If it is anything like the last time he left detention, it is because he is continuing the fight for a credible government.
I say "assuming" because as of this writing it remains unclear why he disappeared. His lawyer says he was returning to the Marine Brig. Even the police do not know how he left the hotel or managed to disappear amid one thousand soldiers and hundreds of cops.

we all want a better government but we should all be man enough to face our faults.

Jose Rizal didnt dodge the bullet.

Correction: Rizal COULDNT dogde the bullet. He tried to compromise by offering his medical services on behalf of Spain in the Cuban war.

What faults should Capt. Faeldon have to face? He has faces his trials. He has continued to fight. He never sought to evade punishment because if he did, the first time he was out of detention, he could have just quietly disappeared. Instead he launched a civil disobedience movement and continued to strike at the government showing it how many really support the cause for change
