packing for a trip

yesterday we went to REI, and after i got bored with the clearance items (yeah, red tags attract me), i went to the luggage area where you'll find items you can use to pack up your bag when youre leaving for a trip. since me and anj are planning to do some stuff when i get to visit her, i know that some clothes are necessary. having the ladies' dilemma (packing light with all the right stuff in it--- and right stuff is like with extras), i saw the very helpful thing in the store. a huge ziplock like vacuum plastic thing where u can put your shirts together and all. it takes out the air which makes it easier for you to pack without the bulk. i was also trying to check the overnight shampoo bottles which i doubt i'll get since im such a heavy toiletry user, but if i get the nice size, maybe i'll consider that. but really, i am getting to that point where im so excited about it. haha! who wouldnt be, right?
