Live Free or Die Hard
after almost a week of not blogging this movie, i kindda lost all emotions and thought about it. it was like any other action movie. it wasnt an exciting movie, neither was it special, neither did it become as bad ass as the previous ones. all it did was to entertain everyone in a way that John McClane is a dad to a teenager now, okay, so he is responsible. Neither did Justin Long's nerdy talk mattered in my opinion. it was Timothy Olyphant that became special in this movie. he used his devilish deceitful eyes to show that he is the bad guy. his eyes were meant to kill. though the funny twist is that he actually didnt kill anyone (as i remember it...) he let someone do the dirty stuff. plus it didnt become dirty at all coz no blood was shown (except for blood from McClane's wounds) since everyone was wearing some piece of dark material that absorbs all the colors. wtf?!? what kind of action movie is this? is it a superhero movie thats out from the Marvel franchise? anyway. all's well that ends well. too light. Transformers
a good movie but not great. the robots were awesome, but the back story sometimes do not get me contented. humans talk too much that often it may lead to something senseless. robots are really nice, but yes, they shouldve picked more high powered, trucks and cars to show how cool they more are. Optimus Prime looked exactly the way i remember him to be, like the color of the Philippine flag. hihihi! Megatron was more like Satan's robot than a Decepticon. for some reason, he looked ghoulish. Bumblebee was like a playful metal that kindda reprised Herbie as a thinking metal, but Bumblebee's more human than Sgt Lennox (in my opinion). the emphasis on the robots on the fighting scenes were kindda too much that all you see are metal panels, rather than metal robots fighting (i think its being geared for a dvd release). what else? actors were good. Shia Le Beouf was so normal as a teenager again, that it was convincing. dialogues were kindda bad. there were too cheesy lines, some weird "where did that come from?" lines, and while it was maybe necessary to re-introduce the robots, what ive oberved is that someone has to improve this part of the movies. nowadays, introducing the characters have become the first day of school type of intro. someone has to think of a much clever way to do this.

*i forgot to mention that both movies are about information hacking. i liked the Transformers way though, knowing that they are robots.*
