holding back

last week when i submitted my paper, my topic was about my high school friends. when my professor read it, she asked, "why are your friends all girls?" i just shrugged a bit and smiled, "I came from an all-girls school."

today, she asked us to write a topic for our expository paper. the first thing i wrote was, "How do you draw the line between love and friendship?" then, after 10 seconds i realized, wait a second. if i read this aloud, i might get pissed if she gives me a weird look. of course i would pertain to guy friends as object of affection, not girl friends! so i scratched off the topic, and widdle waddled into another one. i ended up writing another topic... something about politics. but that is another story. =o)
