Namets!

"Namit" is a Negrense/ Illonggo word for "delicious". Illonggo pertains to a person from Iloilo and is also the name for the dialect that they use (trivia!). and through this word comes the title and inspiration in this Filipino independent film called "Namets!" which is an official entry to the Cinemalaya 2008. for those in the Philippines, you can still catch its last screening on July 30th at the Cine Adarna in UP Diliman at 7pm. i'll keep all posted if there's a screening on the Robinson's Galleria cinema.
