Once is a movie that won this years Sundance Film Festival, among other awards it was able to receive. dubbed as a modern musical, it has a basic story and can be summarized briefly. a guy and a girl meets up. they are both into music. they jam. but in between, they have this misconceived love story because they were not sure if the feelings that they have for each other is love or affection. in the end, they lived their lives separately.

i liked it not only because of the basic, uncomplex story that it has, but it is more of how the songs conveyed some of the messages. though really, the movie is basically an extended version of Glen Hansard's video collection (with all his music videos), knowing that there is a story behind it makes you hold on to your seat and enjoy the rest of the show. it is an understatement to say that the soundtrack is good. it is actually something i want to put in my playlist and play repeatedly.
