NOOO CHARLIE!!! why do they have to let Charlie die?!?
Naomi's another "Other".
Since the Sayeed et al are alive, they should get rid of Ben
More "Others" around the island? Who's that kid talking to John Locke?
that rescue call is such a fake! its only meant to brng hope when in fact they are ending the show on 2010!
i dunno what are their different motivators or what?!?
i dunno why they cant kill Ben right away. he has to die!
Let's solve the mystery of who Jacob is... NOW!!! (i mean Season4 i guess)

I'd love to see a season of them after this whole island madness is over. Just an entire season of them trying to piece their lives back together. That would be cool.
i wasnt able to see the first 30mins of the episode, so im not sure if from the start the Jack flashback was consistent with the ending. But in the middle of the Jack flashback, all i told myself was, "why do they have a different picture of Jack again?" ending: IT wasnt a flashback. it was uhm, present? or was it a prophetic look on what may happen at present? that maybe, they'll explain on S4. =)
The first 30 minutes of the Jack "flash forward" was consistent with the ending. I think that's where they're headed...probably starting with S4, instead of having flashbacks of each character each week- they'll now have "flash forwards".
I'm back on the "not heaven or hell" kick. They're all really dead, but have nowhere to go. And they were not meant to come back to the land of the living!!!!
PS- the kid talking to Locke is Walt...he and his dad "got off of the island" at the end of S2.
Great twist ending setting up the flashback and then *BAM* it's really the present. Good twist. I didn't see it coming so I was cheerfully surprised.
Charlie had to die. They said it for days (months in broadcast time.) I thought he could've jumped through the hole once all the waters equalized the pressure, but, oh well. If anything, you cut the head off the vampire once he's down. Don't let him stew. He'll just come back and blow up your window flooding your control room.
Is the next season about them piecing their lives back together? Are they going to flashback to the island and how they got off? How about the repurcussions for the survivors of the 3rd season finale? Will Charlie be mourned? Do they kill Ben? How about Jacob? The crazy French lady? Or even Locke? What becomes of him?
This all reminds me of the first Star Trek TNG movie, the one with Capt. Kirk. That's the one with Malcolm McDonald trying to get back into the crack zone and the two Captains trying to stop them. McDonald's character liked being in that place which made him all warm and fuzzy. Same with Capt. Picards, if I recall. But they stopped him. Locke acts like Picard in the dream not wanting to leave. The now version of Jack acts like Malcolm McDonald trying to get back to the place that's gone.
It's sort of like having a good dream. You want to go back to sleep to get there again.
It would be interesting to see what they'll be doing with the next seasons. At least they have two seasons left.
the sad thing about it is that looking onto their future, using Jack's story, all things dont end good.
All things don't end good? Elaborate, please.
It'll be an interesting story about where they've been and if they can get back. Perhaps structure it like the Nine.
Jack: Every little bump we hit, I actually close my eyes and pray that I can get back. We made a mistake. We were not supposed to leave.
Kate: Yes, we were
Jack: We have to go back, Kate!
