my best friend playlist

i got so wacky earlier that i spent $15 on itunes within... hmmm... maybe less than 30 minutes. i found this itunes collection where they grouped together the most popular songs per year from 1955 to 2006. so i clicked on 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, and 2006. it was great! i downloaded all the songs that i liked during these times, and especially got most from 1997, thus dubbing it the "best friend" playlist. these were songs that reminds me about 7th grade and other silly memories of me and my bff (who i know will laugh if she sees this).

here's a peek on my list:
(1) Never Ever by All Saints
(2) All Cried Out by Allure
(3) Brick by Ben Folds Five
(4) If Youre Not The One by Daniel Bedingfield
(5) Don't Let Go (Love) by En Vogue

the other songs are some random tunes such as Firestarter, Block Rockin Beats, Blue, Push It, 24/7, I Try, Don't Speak, Show Me Love, Song 2, and Rockefeller Skank.

and while i was listening to it, it felt funny coz for one, all the beats are so random that it couldve been from our prom tunes (the mix of heartbreaking songs and dance beats), second, it makes u bring back memories (the love songs especially are funny coz it seems like there was only one name that is connected to all these songs... u know who that is.) however, the other thing about listening to these love songs also is that it makes u feel that these are the same songs you can still dedicate to whoever u "love" right now (if there is one). lastly, its still an incomplete best friend playlist, why? coz this playlist will not be complete without my pop stars!!! come on! this is the time when Nick Carter was hot, and Spice Girls were the new type of feminists! (dont forget my ardent love for the Irish Ronan Keating). the only thing that hindered me from putting it on the playlist is that it will be a waste since im not gonna listen to it on my iPod (alright! except for Ronan. i have him on my playlist already!).

overall, this is what this post means.
cheers to a decade of friendship!!! loves, kisses, hugs, and really miss you my bessy friend phoebe!
(and i was just texting u earlier.)
