cam hunting

up to now, yes, i havent purchased it.

im thinking too much and im getting little patience with myself. shopping and love (for whatever vague meaning it has), is something ive been thinking of a lot and i myself is impatient of waiting for me to decide what to do. anyway, i just checked the prices for all the Canon cameras that i was scouting. my first choice is now $200 in Amazon when hardly a month ago (Sept 3 isnt far from Sept 30, right?), it was on the average, $250. how these things can suck u up if u dont have any patience. $200 was my original buffer, but if i wanted something better, i had to increase the level, so Canon SD1000 is not my first choice anymore, and i am open now to options. like the SD800 which is better in terms of its specs. i cannot elaborate the specs, but okay, there is a significant difference from comparing SD1000 to SD750 to SD800. if before the only difference between SD1000 and SD750 is their LCD size, this one has a significant tech diff. hehe!

but then i saw the Canon G9 with 12.1MP.... hmmmm.....

Pixels don't mean shitty caca on those dinky machines. In fact more pixels equals more problems on the small chips. All you need is 6 to 10 megs and you're fine. Don't buy the hype. Lens and lighting is the key. If you want to climb the mega pixel range just get a dslr which will blow away those wee one machines.

That's my 2 cents.
